The former castle tavern (castle inn), which was first mentioned in documents in 1444 and is located next to Sighartstein Castle, was owned by the noble Überacker family (Bavaria) until 1816. However, the building is probably much older and may have existed as early as the middle of the 14th century . Until 1800, it housed a small brewery and until 1950, a wooden bowling alley.
The interior of the property is equipped with various vaults on the ground floor. Baroque, Biedermeier doors lead into the guest rooms and bedrooms. On the upper floor there are numerous baroque curved stucco ceilings and some wooden beams of the historic wooden ceilings.
The building is a listed building . Natural stone was used as the foundation for the walls.
